About Me

I’m a design engineer focused on helping startups and entrepreneurs turn ideas into manufacturable consumer products. I work closely with founders and small teams to guide projects from early concept through to production, combining rigorous engineering with creative and artistic, problem solving.

I spent over four years developing high-end consumer products at Ooni, contributing to projects that progressed from concept to large-scale manufacturing. That experience gave me a practical understanding of what it actually takes to ship real products. Performance, cost, safety and manufacturability must all be balanced while working within tight timelines and development budgets.

Today I operate as an independent technical partner to startups, entrepreneurs and founders, supporting teams across the entire development journey. I help reduce technical risk and maintain project momentum by blending creative problem solving with analytical engineering, simulation and prototyping within a clear development framework. I work with you closely to help support you in you product development journey, increasing confidence and decreasing risk early to avoid pitfalls which prevent expensive surprises later.

I started this consultancy because I wanted to gain experience working with many different types of projects, it excites and interests me how many different great ideas there are out in the world. I saw how difficult it can be for early-stage hardware companies to access experienced engineering support. Many founders have strong product visions but limited technical resources. I enjoy working with passionate people and helping ambitious ideas become robust, well-engineered reality. The satisfaction of seeing your ideas in the real-world and used by real people is second to none.

Alongside commercial projects, I dedicate part of my time to pro-bono engineering work for initiatives with social or environmental impact. I believe engineering should contribute positively beyond commercial success.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing all sorts of sport and playing music.

Values

Integrity

Clear communication and accountability are central to how I work. Engineering decisions should be transparent and backed up with evidence, so teams can move forward with confidence.

Thoughtful Innovation

I aim to solve problems creatively while staying grounded in practical engineering. Innovation should improve products in meaningful ways, not add unnecessary complexity.

Long-Term solutions

I design with longevity in mind, in strategic decisions and in the products themselves. Robust engineering comes from considering lifecycle, sustainability and real-world use from the start.

Positive Impact

I believe engineering should contribute positively beyond commercial success. This principle guides both my pro-bono work and the way I collaborate with clients.
